Fried Squid with Green Pepper & Salsa Dips

For 4 persons you need:

  • 600 g

    squid rings, washed

  • 1 liter

    oil for frying

  • 1 bag

    Antica Cantina Crispy Chicken Mix

  • 100 g

    flour

  • 4

    chilies, sliced

  • 2 tbsp

    fresh green pepper

  • 2 tbsp

    of the frying oil

  • 1 jar

    of Antica Cantina salsa dip of your choice

  • 1 jar

    of chipotle mayonnaise

  • 4

    limes, quartered

preparation:

Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C. Mix the flour with the Crispy Chicken Seasoning Mix. Dredge the squid rings in it, shaking off any excess flour. Fry the squid rings in the oil in 3 batches for about 3 minutes. The chilies and the green pepper briefly heat in oil. Put some salsa dip on the plates, add the squid rings, chilies and pepper. Serve with chipotle mayonnaise and lime.
